Silver: When is Liquidating Your Assets a Good Idea?

So, you've been diligent in accruing your volume in silver. One of the most common questions asked is, when do I liquidate my inventory?

My personal stance is, you don't liquidate your inventory. The scarcity is going to continue to increase as multiple industries mine to produce their products. As well as J.P. Morgan Chase continues to hoard the worlds largest supply of silver. The commodity will only continue to increase in value. Keeping in mind it's set for extinction on or about 2025. The scarcity of it will drive the price sky high!

However, the best time or reason to liquidate your assets is when you want to invest in another underpriced or undervalued asset class. It's a way to reinvest your profits into a new investment that will see considerable gains.

This could mean that when the Gold to Silver Ratio get closer (Right now isn't the time to purchase gold. The buy signal isn't available as of yet) The ideal signal for Gold to Silver is 15 to 1. Currently, it is 80 to 1. As those numbers get closer, then would be a great time to liquidate some of your silver volume to gain some gold volume.

Also, understanding what part of your portfolio to liquidate is important. If you have been diversifying as I have mentioned multiple times before, you will have specific parts of your portfolio just for liquidation. The constitutional silver, bars, and plates are perfect for liquidation. While they appreciate in value, you hold no real emotion to them and they can be easily released back to dealers. You never want to part with your high value silver rounds, or your Highest Asset Classes of silver like your Numismatic MS 70/PR 70/ PS 70 Coins. They are too valuable and will appreciate significantly over a long period of time. They are the Mona Lisa's in your art gallery of Silver. Hold on to them for dear life and pass them down a generation if you are able to!

When should you liquidate? If you are able to position yourself, don't liquidate. However, if you see an opportunity for liquidation to invest in another undervalued or underpriced investment, which will offer you considerable gains, this is your sell signal. Need assistance, I am only a comment away...
